Combining Ancient Wisdom with New-Age Science

Herbal medicine has its origins in ancient times and is well proven through the centuries, both with people and their animals.  Animal doctors were not around so people had to rely on the herbs of the countryside to care for their precious farm animals. Homeopathy had its beginnings with Hippocrates ‘ like cures like’ (-370 BC)  but it wasn’t until Hahnemann (1755 AD) developed the system of succussion and dilution that a whole new dimension in healing power was created.

Combine these two powerful mediums and their synergy reaches new heights in providing safe and effective treatment for our animals.

Herbal Remedies

Using herbs as part of the healing process means taking part in the  world’s ecological cycle, it offers the opportunity to consciously participate in the living  vibrant relationships between man, animal, plant and planet. Plant  Medicine is the most ancient of medicines, used by every living being on  earth, taught to man by the animals. It is rather ironic that the  animals are now the very ones who suffer because they no longer have  access to their natural medicines, or their knowledge has been lost in  the process of domestication. It is our responsibility to offer it back  to our animal friends, not as a manufactured sanitised drug but as the  olde healing, restorative herbal medicine applied with new  administrative technology.

The Science of Homeopathy

Using the natural laws of healing, homeopathy essentially assists the body to heal itself, using the natural substances from minerals and the plant & animal kingdoms. It focuses on treating the animal, not the dis-ease, matching the totality of symptoms of the pet to the choice of the remedy. Animals respond exceptionally well to this modality, whether it’s for their physical, mental or emotional state.

Featured Product

Physical Trauma Support  (ES)

Our Physical Trauma preparation is used to assist for coping with crush injuries, strains, sprains etc. and contains several tried and true homeopathic remedies to cover these situations, none of which will interfere with medical treatment. However, should surgery be required we do not recommend Arnica be given prior to surgery as it MAY promote bleeding, especially in dental work.

Our ES (Emergency Support) Physical Trauma does NOT contain Arnica for this reason.  Otherwise both are perfectly safe for use in injuries where surgery would not be required.

White Tui History

Tui are native and unique to New Zealand and are fully protected. They belong to the honeyeater family. The name Tui is derived from the Maori language and is sometimes called the Parson Bird due to tufts of feathers on its neck. Tui have two voice boxes and a very unusual and distinctive call with some notes so high they are not audible to the human ear. Tui have even been known to mimic human speech!

Our White Tui was captured at Morrison’s Bush near Greytown in the South Wairarapa just before the outbreak of WW1. Our white tui is a leucristic bird, not an albino, and is likely to have had a dark eye in life.
